An unfinished riad on a quiet street beside Jnan Sbil, a few steps from Bab Boujloud and the old Medina.
This unfinished riad sits on a quiet street in Fes Jdid, next to the gardens of Jnan Sbil and the entrance to the old Medina at Bab Boujloud. From the terrace, the view opens over the garden and the mountains north of Fes. The building is partway through construction — a foundation to finish on your own terms, with the layout and generous bathrooms already planned into every room.
Of the 14 rooms planned across the riad, 7 are already built — each with its own generous attached bathroom. The remaining cells below are framed into the plan, ready to be finished.
Standing on the roof, the sightline runs straight over the walled cemetery and the ramparts of Fes Jdid to the gardens of Jnan Sbil and the mountains beyond. The first floor still has a full roof terrace to be built — once finished, this view becomes the riad's defining room.
